Ensure your computer is**OFF** .
Press thePower button to power on your computer, and keep pressing theF2 key (orDEL key,F1 ,F3 , orESC key depending on your computer brand) to enter BIOS.
Use thearrow keys to select an option likeAdvanced orMain , then pressEnter to access.
Find an option likeStorage Configuration ,IDE Configuration , orDrive Configuration . Then press theEnter key.
Find an option likeConfigure SATA ,SATA Mode orSATA Configuration .
Change that option toIDE ,ATA , orCompatible .
- Save and exit BIOS.
Now check if Driver PNP Watchdog has been resolved.
Fix 2: Run System File Checker
Basically the missing or corrupted system files may cause system errors or blue screen issues, so you can run System File Checker (SFC) to fix your problem by scanning and repairing any problematic files.

Fix 4: Update your device drivers

Fix 6: Check Volume Shadow Copy service

You should make sure the Volume Shadow Copy service is running properly:
On your keyboard, press theWindows logo key andR at the same time to invoke the Run box.
Typeservices.msc and clickOK .
- Scroll down and double-clickVolume Shadow Copy .
- Make sure theStartup type is set toAutomatic , and theService status isRunning . Then clickApply andOK to save your changes.
- Restart your computer.
